Attention — all who scream for ice cream! In preparation for the sizzling summer months ahead, we tapped into Yelp’s data science team to determine the top frozen treats across U.S. and Canada. Despite challenges faced during COVID-19, these top spots kept the frozen treats flowing. Whether you like your ice cream scoops sandwiched between two donuts, piled high on a fresh waffle cone, or you prefer a refreshing fruit-filled popsicle, this list has something for everyone.

Methodology: This is a list of the best frozen treats in North America according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the ice cream and frozen yogurt categories, then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews between July 1, 2020 and June 1, 2021. All businesses were marked open on Yelp as of June 15, 2021. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of June 15, 2021.
