An intimate group of Elites came together on a Tuesday night to challenge their taste buds with a secret menu from Maypop’s chef and owner Michael Gulotta. Chef Gulotta is known for his range of flavors inspired from his past culinary career and has created a menu with a cornucopia of known and unique spices and ingredients. Every dish from the Stone Fruit Salad with House-Cured Coppa to the Sake-Poached Chilton County Peaches kept Elites guessing while they enjoyed signature drinks from Maypop’s cocktail menu made with Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Wheatley Vodka, and Hendrick’s Gin.
In the end, Yelp Elite Alison H. championed over all her fellow taste “buds” winning a spice kit from Chef’s pantry to use in her own kitchen.
