Hot Fun In The Summertime With Yelp Philadelphia!

Despite threats of thunderstoms, the skies of Philadelphia remained clear for Yelp's Summer Soirée at North Shore Beach Club. The three-hour Yelper Party kicked off with an exclusive Elite VIP hour. Eager Yelpers arrived in style via complimentary rides from Uber, and a line formed that quickly wrapped around the block. Luckily, volunteers from our charitable partner, Gesu School, were on hand to collect donations and get everyone signed in with the quickness.

Once inside, Yelpers were treated to hand massages from MI CUMBIA Organica, plus spray tan demonstrations from the lovely ladies of Skin Palette. Thirteen of Philadelphia's highest-rated restaurants were on hand serving complimentary bites: The Couch Tomato Café, Revolution House, Pod, Minar Palace, Cavanaugh's Headhouse Square, Circles Contemporary Thai Cuisine, Rustica, Serrano, Nomad Pizza Truck, Cooperage Wine & Whiskey Bar, Bitar's, Rita's, and Sweet Box Cupcakes.

Liquid libations from sangria to beer to cocktails flowed freely, courtesy of our seven beverage sponsors: The Traveler Beer Co., Narragansett Beer, Wigle Whiskey, Tenth and Blake Beer and Cider Company, Sassafras Bar, Weyerbacher and Tito's Handmade Vodka.

It wasn't long before guests decided to strip down to take a dip in the pool. Yelp Elite Tara G sums up what she observed: "I didn't go swimming, but I did sit on the side of the pool with my feet
in the water, and it was just lovely. North Shore did a great job of
accommodating all of us. I was worried that it would feel cramped with
all of the people, but it was super chill and there was plenty of room
to mingle throughout the night."
