Last Tuesday, Portland’s Gold Elites became temporary members of a whole other club: Boys’ Fort! While browsing this hip downtown boutique’s carefully curated collection of local, handmade products and vintage one of a kind finds, guests sipped on Brazilian cocktails by Novo Fogo. Representatives for the organic cachaça schooled guests on how to make their own caipirinhas, and Portland Bitters Project stepped in to show how together these two brands create a delicious riff on the classic old fashioned. After guests caught a nice buzz, they were rewarded in the most responsible way possible… with weapons and fire hazards! Each Yelper was gifted an official Boys’ Fort slingshot and encouraged to customize it at a wood-burning station. While many enjoyed their boozy target practice, others opted for a less aggressive experience and spent their evening at the friendship-bracelet station. As the night wound down, all agreed that Novo Fogo Cachaça is awesome and that Boys’ Fort is on their short list of shopping stops for the upcoming holiday season! Want to know more?
