Here’s to dipping our toes into the healing waters of the world. From the onsens of Japan to the hippy dippy waters of Utah, there’s a fit for all souls. Here’s six picks from Yelpers around the world to get you started.

2: Dip your toes into the natural baths of Hot Springs, Arkansas

“The lovely vintage tiles on the floors, and old-fashioned bathhouse dating back 100 years are also lovely. If you purchase a private bath, there are old fashioned bathing rooms, with each one having a large private bathtub.”

3: Soak in the best hippy hot springs of the West at Mystic Hot Springs of Monroe, Utah

“What a great way to take a breath of fresh, mountain air during a road trip to explore the Mighty Five. Don’t expect the views or environment to be spa-like or what you think of when you think of a spa – they’re far from that. It’s a very “come as your are” atmosphere which was perfect for us as we had been camping the night before.”

4: Get lost in French Lick, Indiana’s historic mineral springs

“A beautiful resort that boasts beautiful gardens, upscale dining, a spa, shops, and French Licks famous Mineral Baths. The spa also has a small shop where you can pick up some of the minerals salts to take home with you to enjoy.”

5: Experience an onsen (hot spring) in Japan.

“My husband and I stumbled upon this old school, over 100 years old, mostly Japanese customers, public bath house as it was located just a minute walk from our Airbnb apartment.”

6: Dip in a bath filled with beer in one of Prague’s beer spas.

“The beer spa was great. The room had a great atmosphere and the hot tub was great! My wife and I enjoyed it a lot, especially the unlimited beer. This place is great and if we ever find ourselves in Prague again, we will definitely make a return visit.”
