Second Avenue’s Cut (Of Meat) Above The Rest

Rodizio Grill-21

Odds are if you’ve spent any time in Nashville, you’ve been to 2nd Avenue. It’s a Nashville mainstay. But did you know that amidst the lights and difficult parking is a unique gem in the Music City’s culinary landscape? Rodizio Grill is a churrascaria without equal in Nashville. While steakhouses are nothing new to Nashvillians, Brazilian steakhouses with 50+ item salad bars and roving gauchos custom slicing Picanha (Top sirloin — Beef Top, Sirloin Cap, Sirloin Cap, Sirloin Culotte); Flap Steak with Chimichurri; Maminha (Tri-tip sirloin steak); Abacaxi (grilled pineapple); Presunto (sugar-glazed ham); Lombo Con Parm (pork loin with cheese and bacon); Frango Agri Doce (sweet & spicy chicken) aren’t something you experience every day. Lest you think meat is all there is to offer, the beverage program, too, is unique and delicious (caipirinhas and Tipsy Turtles will change your life) and your sweet tooth has been craving the brigadeiro (Brazilian chocolate cake) — even if you don’t know it. Oh, and how can we forget the gorgeous event room with archways, 40’ ceilings and giant-sized windows that overlook the Cumberland. This is 2nd Avenue super sized. If you need further proof, check out photos here and reviews here. You no longer need a passport to get a taste of South America’s sexiest country.
