Yelp San Francisco Elite Squad Pairs Up Coast Poke and Sequoia Sake!

On December 11th and intimate group of Yelp San Francisco’s Elite Squad were treated to an amazing evening at Sequoia sake brewery in San Francisco, CA. Alongside the amazing sake was amazingly fresh poke from Coast Poke Counter. What a pairing! Here’s what one of the elites said about the evening, “Really cool and neat event. It was quite intimate too and I learned more about sake than I’ve ever known. Immediately, we were greeted with cups of their Coastal sake, then we had bowls of Poke from Coast Poke. Let me tell you — the Albacore poke is like eating fish butter. I had to try another bowl. Their pumpkin mochi is also super delicious. I’ll need to run over to their store location soon. Then, we had a tasting of three of their “fresh” sake a.k.a. not heat pasteurized. I was never a fan of sake bombs or warm sake, so I’m glad these were cool. They also need to be refrigerated and should be consumed rather soon. I loved their nigori sake the most and bought a bottle for the holidays.”
