San Antonio: Elite Experience at Organically Bath & Beauty

Saying Organically Bath & Beauty is the bomb would be a little corny, but it goes without saying it really is all that! Our Yelp Elites can attest that they had a blast strapping on their gloves and creating their own organic bath bombs to use at home!

Organically Bath & Beauty provides organic beauty products to nurture and repair all facets of the body. The company is family-owned and operated right here in the heart of San Antonio. They were inspired to start Organically Bath & Beauty because their 13 year old daughter developed severe eczema. Their signature Oatmeal Soap Bar and Whipped Body Mousse were created for her and have been a staple in their home for years. Once they had family and friends try their product, they became motivated to branch out and start their business.

The evening was a breath of fresh air for a lot of our Yelp Elites who had never understood the time and precision taken into making these products, let alone getting the chance to make them themselves. Our elites, who were split into groups and in communal style, got started making their bath bombs. Our guests received black tubs and premixed powder, which consisted of corn starch, citric acid, baking soda, and a secret blend that we were dying to know. From there, they got to pick which scent they wanted. The options included Japanese Cherry Blossom, or go fruity with Mango and Tangerine. Once chosen, the final touch was a pop of color. Elites could choose between purple, pink, green, yellow, or orange.  After all of the ingredients were blended together, the Yelpers kneaded their formula to get the right consistency, and placed it into a molder. In just a few moments, their product was ready! Best of all, Organically Bath & Beauty offers classes and hosts parties for people interested in creating bath bombs to the public.

The fun didn’t stop there! The owners then demonstrated how they make their soaps. The owners, Kela and Kevin gave us a sneak peak of what to expect this winter with their red and white candy cane soap! With ingredients such as olive oil, coconut oil, and palm oil, it’s definitely a product you’ll want in your everyday skin routine! The soaps made at Organically Bath & Beauty take about six weeks to process. That ensures they will be at their best just before sales so they’re worth the wait! Our guests also got to walk around the shop and grab a few products for themselves, ranging from soaps, to shampoos, even products for their fur babies! No two products are the same, which only proves just how creative Organically Bath & Beauty is, as well as how much pride they take in making each and every product they sell!
