"Who knew the Yelpers could move like that?" asked Allison P, and with good reason: she'd just gazed in amazement at West DFW yelpers seizing the dance floor like some sort of rhythmic coup. Such was the scene at the recent Salsa Revoluciones at Embargo, a smolderingCuban hideaway downtown which was the most recent scene of Yelp Elite shenanigans.
Yelpers sipped on ice cold Victoria beer, classic mojitos courtesy of Bacardi ("I really loved the sugar cane sticks they added to the drinks," chimed Minh N), and sampled all sorts of creative Cuban fare (Ceviche! Domincan sandwiches!) and then promptly got up and danced it all off to the salsa and bachata classes tought by Xzavier and company, and spun into the night by DJ Art.
And local yelpers are exclaiming: Tae S put it entusiastically: "Can I say CEVICHE and SALSA and super YUM!" Yes you can, Tae, yes you can. And Ana W asked rhetorically "Why haven't I been here before?" We don't know, Ana, but we're guessing you've got plenty of reasons to head back!
Until next time, yelpers, Viva Embargo! Viva Yelp!
