Queen City History is founded by Michael Morgan, author of “Over-the-Rhine: When Beer Was King,” Bockfest organizer, historic preservationist, lawyer, and real-estate agent – you might say he is one of the most interesting people in Cincinnati. His goal? To bring history to life and share his passion, stories, and unique tales with the people of Cincinnati.
We were lucky enough to join Mike on one of his saloon tours, starting at the longest running bar in Cincinnati’s history – Arnold’s. We learned about brothels, infamous bootleggers, and booze along the way. Most of us having grown up in Cincinnati were shocked to learn so many new things about the city we love, and walked away with a new perspective on where we call home.
