Pinot’s Palette Comes to Park Slope!

Have you heard of Pinot’s Palette? If not, climb out from behind that rock you’ve been hiding under, and find out how awesome an evening of painting can be. Just before Thanksgiving, the Drummonds, the lovely couple who have brought so much fun to 5th Ave in Park Slope, invited the best of Brooklyn Yelp out to release their inner Picasso during an amazing evening of painting, pizza, and beer (and wine!). The great Picasso once said “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” Pinot’s Palette solves this problem with a fun and friendly atmosphere, knowledgable and skilled instructors, and the most important ingredient: alcohol! Astrid M and her friend were all about the Hofbrau, and “fell in love with the Hefeweizen…no wonder I loved this beer, BANANA & CLOVES (ingredients in the brew) are two of my favorites!”

Don’t worry if you’ve never painted before; “Julie was a great painting advisor throughout the night, and her step by step guidance made” Jaclyn L‘s husband’s “first painting experience less scary and a lot of fun.” But you know what was really perfect? “That artichoke pizza from Artichoke Basille. I have never experienced such a rich, meatless-ly delicious slice!  I would drive all the way here for a slice, and then get drunk on painting.”

As far as Reana K is concerned, “I think we did Rick Ross proud that night. Thanks to the patient instructions of our evening’s art teacher even the least artistically inclined among us was able to create something that passed for a painting.” And as Alyssa R (the birthday girl!) says, “For me there was no better way to spend my b-day then being all creative and artsy and surrounded by good food (Artichoke Pizza!), good booze (Hofbräu Beer) and good people.”
