On Thursday, October 20th Phoenix Yelpers were invited to Sweet Republic to meet their celebrity ice cream maker, Helen and to learn all about their award-winning handcrafted ice cream, the processes they go through to make it, what inspires their flavors, and so much more! Sweet Republic has been featured in Time Magazine, USA Today, Food Network, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit Magazine, and Sunset Magazine, along with many more media mentions! Their ice cream flavors are sold at a variety of local restaurants in Arizona and Whole Foods.
At the event, Yelpers were invited back into to their immaculate kitchen to see their impressive churning equipment, freezers, fridges, toppings, ingredients, and all that goes into their phenomenal artisan ice cream. Yelpers got to mix their very own pint of ice cream with ingredients like almond brittle, brownies, homemade waffle pieces, chocolate, and caramel.
