Phoenix Elite Event: The Skinny on Skin at Dermalogica Scottsdale

On Wednesday, September 12th, Elites got the skinny on skin at Dermalogica in Old Town Scottsdale. Not only were they given refreshing mini facials and sugaring services, but they also learned about their skin and the incredible lasting effects that Dermalogica products have to offer. As they entered through the chic glass doors, they were handed a goodie bag, a glass of bubbly, and an itinerary for what was in store throughout the evening.

Dermalogica set up eight unique skin stations for Elites to visit. Their first station was “FaceFits,” where they were given 10-minute personalized facial treatments to learn more about their personal skin health. Second, they visited the “Widgets + Product Pool” station. Using iPads, they were able to see how Dermalogica’s popular products could positively affect their own skin, and how external factors can negatively affect it. Their third station was the “Skin Scanner.” This interactive station gave attendees the opportunity to see sun-damaged skin at a deeper level, and learn how to avoid it. The fourth station took a turn to a different kind of skincare, for your hands and nails! This relaxing station gave Elites a step-by-step process of a professional hand and nail treatment. Elites then made their way into the education section of the store for a slideshow presentation to further dive into the science of skincare and learn about the different layers of skin. Their sixth station, “What’s in a Treatment?,” was a self-guided exhibit of Dermalogica’s various tools and treatments. Elites were very excited for the seventh station, where they were able to try the popular hair removal treatment called “sugaring”. This all-natural product left Elites feeling clean and smooth after their eyebrow and upper-lip treatments. The eighth and final station explained the thorough process of Dermalogica’s ProSkin30 treatment, a popular treatment that they offer which is personalized to individual skin types.

As Elites visited each station and mingled throughout the night, they were treated to a wonderful assortment of healthy bites from The Herb Box. They served up a variety of wraps, pita bread, hummus, olives, orzo salad, and homemade sweet potato chips. Dermalogica’s next door neighbor, Sugar & ‘Spro, also provided a colorful macaron tower to end the evening on a sweet note. More fun ensued as attendees were able to take home cute memories from the night by striking a pose in Goof Booth’s photo booth with colorful props. Every thirty minutes, there was a raffle for Yelp schwag, Dermalogica goodies, and more!

As guests finished perusing the stations, they began to trickle out one-by-one where they received a friendly goodbye from the Dermalogica team and a take-home bag of sweet potato chips from The Herb Box. Elites will definitely be back soon, though, as their event packets included a future ProSkin30 treatment voucher.
