OKC Elites delight in Cafe de L’asie

What’s more fun than getting out and about on a sunny Saturday? For Oklahoma City Yelp Elites, heading to Cafe de L’asie in Downtown OKC for complimentary menu items made for an excellent start to the weekend. Our Elites have always been spoiled by Chef Vuong Nguyen, since his days at Guernsey Park and Bonjour. This Elite Experience was no exception.

Cafe de L’asie had a successful run as part of the inaugural class of the Collective food hall. Once they had proof of concept, they moved to the Oklahoman building in the heart of Downtown. The high-ceilings in the large space help with ventilation, and the floor to ceiling windows bring in the perfect light for photos of his delicious creations. Elites sipped peach tea with bubbles and fruit as they waited for their food orders to arrive. Elites could dine in or take their food to go, depending on their comfort level during one of the first Elite Experiences that had an in-person option.

Elite favorites included pork belly buns, cheesesteak eggroll, bulgogi beef bowl, and the taro cheesecake. The biggest hit was the bundle: any two steamed buns with choice of togarashi fries, chicken cheesesteak eggroll, or edamame).

Many Elites mentioned they were so glad to see Chef Vuong again after a while! Elites also loved the swag bag, which included Yelp swag and a discount card for a future visit. We suspect they’ll all be back soon.
