Yelp North Shore Elites kicked off the holiday season with a cocktail affair at The Barn in Evanston. A meat-centric restaurant concept by Amy Morton, from the famed Morton Steakhouse family, this was no typical hayloft experience. The building itself was officially the Borden Evaporated Milk barn at one time, and its hidden back alley entrance greeted guests with a little something unexpected. Yelp had their own space up in the loft area, and guests were treated to a bevy of specialty cocktails, wine and passed appetizers. From egg salad caviar sandwiches, crispy pork terrine, to spiced brussel sprouts, the highlight of the evening included succulent New York strip steak bites…of course! Steak so good, many Yelpers stayed to dine after the party was over. View the photos and check out the five-star reviews right here.
