On Thursday night, Miami Elites were treated to an extraordinary family style meal at Chef Michael Mina's Stripsteak. Housed inside the famed Fontainebleau Miami Beach, attendees were first given a behind-the-scenes look of the hotel's dining operation few are privy to see, along with a preview of the restaurant's new cocktail menu.
Afterwards, it was time to experience 13 different dishes on the steakhouse's main menu, perfectly paired with fine white and red wines. Standouts of the evening included the pickle point oysters, and duck and ricotta cavatelli for appetizers, along with black truffle mac and cheese, duck fat truffle fries and curry roasted cauliflower for sides. Of course, the real stars of the show were the Australian wagyu tomahawk steak, 28 day dry-aged KC strip steak, and Scottish salmon entrees that left everyone full and satisfied. For dessert, it was hand-crafted chocolate doughnuts with ganache filling, and delectable key lime pie that ended the evening on a sweet note.
