The Summer Solstice is the most sunshine filled day of the year, and thanks to Lightkeepers Miami at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Yelp Miami Elites soaked up every bit of the daytime with oceanfront views. On Wednesday evening, 50+ Yelp Elites enjoyed the seaside views with a side of Key Biscayne inspired cocktails, wines and bites. Food and drinks flowed all evening as Executive Chef Raul del Pozo and team wow’d the squad with their two interactive stations featuring Jackman Ranch Dry Aged New York Strip served with Keeper’s Wife Biscuits as well as the beautifully plated Beet and Burrata! Crowd favorites included the pork belly bites, lamb and chorizo empanadas and yellowfin tuna. Every piece of food was drool worthy, but the service put this event over the top!
Lightkeepers has a great cocktail menu inspired by iconic spots on Key Biscayne, so to showcase their mixologists we pitted Monica vs Monica in a cocktail making contest against resident mixologist Randy! Monica and Monica tested their luck making the Loggerhad Lavender Collins featuring gin, raspberry liqueur, lavender, lime, pineapple and ginger beer! With Community Manager Diandra as the judge, Randy took home the title in a blind taste test! Shout out to Elite Dan C for helping me taste test without being able to see, and to Monica M and Monica G for the exceptional cocktail work!! The night ended on a sweet note with desserts by Pastry Chef Levi Richard serving up beignets and cheesecake bites.
Yelp Miami would like to personally thank the entire team at Lightkeepers including Justin Wilson, General Manager, Tatiana Lora, Director of Public Relations, Chef Raul del Pozo, Executive Chef, Chef Levi Richards, Executive Pastry Chef and the entire service team for their world-class hospitality, ensuring all guests with a remarkable experience.
