Hundreds of Yelpers descended upon the Little Haiti Cultural Center Sunday night for Yelp’s Culinary Carnival, a Caribbean-inspired evening of bites from the city’s top restaurants, free flowing beverages, live music, body painting, and more. While delicious food and drinks were to be expected, it was the entertainment that really set this party apart! From melodic steel drums to the powerful Sunshine Junkanoo band that closed out the event, guests were welcomed with plenty of Yelpy surprises.
When all is said and done, Miamians and special visitors raised over $5200 for Tradisyon Lakou Lakay, a local nonprofit organized to culturally and academically educate children, youth and adults in the community, through Haitian art, music, dance and literature.
