A perfect pizza party was experienced by Madison Elites and their guests last Monday at Salvatore’s Tomato Pies on Johnson. Attendees started the night by grabbing their Yelp pint glasses and bellying up to the bar to sample one of the craft beers on tap, including an early taste of Rumpkin barrel-aged pumpkin beer. House-made burrata and a duck confit appetizer created specially for Yelpers started the night. Pizzas were up next, and they were all showstoppers from the egg-topped carbonara to the signature Tomato Pie. Samantha S., Allyson M., and Katie H. won the opportunity to head into the kitchen and made delicious pies for us to try, with Katie’s creation being voted on as a temporary special!
