If you live on the Isthmus you may not make your way to Middleton too often, but Madison Elites discovered two reasons why it's worth heading to "The Good Neighbor City" sometime soon! At Bloom Bake shop, folks not only feasted on stellar sweets like apple crisps, salted caramel brownies and sweet potato donuts, but they were also introduced to some new savory eats as well, including a rosemary biscuit you won't believe is gluten free. (Look for breakfast sandwiches coming soon in early 2015!) Across the way at The Regal Find, guests enjoyed shopping for whimsical, up-cylced and vintage treasures, while chatting with artists about their handmade goods. Many Elites even took a seat in the craft corner to create a magnificent magnet. Futhermore Beer was on hand to make sure nobody went home thirsty, and provided some cool context surrounding their model and connection to the community. But the highlight of the evening was having an opportunity to talk to Bloom Bake Shop owner Annemarie Maitri and her team, as well as Regal Find owner, Jessica Regele, about their philosophy and really strong connection both of these businesses have to the neighborhood and greater Madison community. Next time you're there, chat them up, their stories are inspiring! Read what guests are gabbing about here and eye over the photos here!
