Our newest and most veteran, gold Louisville Yelp Elites came together for a special “new and g(old)” event at the upscale Buck’s Restaurant and Bar, a fine-dining establishment in Old Louisville. Chef Colter Hubsch brought some of the new into the old-world Buck’s as part of a special five-course meal for the 30 guests. Established in 1992, Buck wanted to create an experience for guests that they would never forget, so he created his very own “moon garden,” filling the restaurant and bar with white flowers against dark green walls and twinkling candles. Buck crafted a continental menu, selected artfully mismatched china and provided nightly live piano music to create the perfect fine-dining experience. And for some added spirit, Kentucky Artisan Distillery — a newer distillery in Crestwood, Ky. — served samples and cocktails made with its Whiskey Row and Jefferson’s bourbons. It was a fancy night with friends new and old. Check out the reviews, pics and slideshow!
