Madrid, que tiene nueve meses de invierno y tres de infierno, no dio ni una pequeña tregua el pasado sábado, cuando casi cuarenta Yelpers se dieron cita en Arúgula, uno de los restaurantes que más se salen de la norma en el Barrio de Salamanca para celebrar que, ya que es muy tarde para apuntarse a la Operación Bikini, qué mejor que saciar el apetito con cosas fresquitas y verdes.
Arúgula fue toda una sorpresa para Yelpers como Elena M, que aunque curtidos en el mundo de la hostelería castiza, agradecieron encontrar un sitio diferente un barrio tan exclusivo como este. Lo que más le gustó, de hecho, fue la decoración con palés, un elemento que "aunque parece que no tiene mucho uso práctico, como mesa y como decoración queda increíble".
Ángela R, por su parte, prefería centrarse en la comida. Destaca "los wraps vegetarianos, las ensaladas, las focaccias y los croissants integrales", pero afirma que "el colofón llegó con las tartas: espectaculares". Teresa A sentencia que "lo de que la comida vegetariana y sana es aburrida es historia: cada nueva bandeja era una sorpresa", y recuerda con pasión los smoothies y combinados alcoholizados tipo daiquiri y mojito, que estaban "de quitar el sentido". Volverá, dice "a comer (el menú cuesta 10,50) y a probar el brunch".
Y por su parte, Pablo C, prefiere destacar otras características del local, como que sus responsables son "personas creativas y concienciadas y que emplean productos frescos y de comercio justo", puntualizando además que es "todo un reto para los tiempos que corren". Que no todo es cuidar la línea: ¡también hay que cuidar lo que nos rodea!

Old people say that Madrid has nine months of winter and three months of hell, but the heat didn't stop the forty Yelpers that attended our event in Aurúgula last Saturday, all of them ready to spend the afternoon in one of the most different restaurants in the most exclusive part of the city.
The venue was a true surprise for seasoned Yelpers like Elena M, who remarks how difficult is to find a place like this… in Barrio de Salamanca neighborhood. She loved the decor, made out of pallets. She didn't think those were useful once used, but recognized that "as a table and decoration, those look awesome".
Ángela R was more focused on food. She loved the "vegetarian wraps, the salads, the focaccias and the croissants", but what she loved the most were the cakes "they were spectacular". For Teresa A "every new tray with food was a new surprise" but for her, cocktails and smoothies did stand out.
Finally, Pablo C prefers to talk about other features of the venue, such as their creativeness and how they use fresh and fair trade products. For him, "it's quite a challenge nowadays". Because taking care of your body is good, but it's also good to take care of the environment".
