LA West Elites Welcome Marina Bar & Grill

150 LA West Elites helped welcome the Marina Bar & Grill with a white party. Matthew T felt like a star: "I felt like a straight up baller wearing all white like LeBron James or Tony Montana walking the red carpet into this event! Then
we got hit by the paparazzi and Venice Paparazzi really made you feel
like a star including their staffers going the extra mile and spotting
your name tag so they could say things like 'work it Matt T.' That was a
nice touch and I almost expected to be on TMZ later that night."

Once past the red carpet, they entered the patio area full of three bars, a fire pit, a caricature artist and Chinese lanterns. Bridget P shares, "Inside the event, we were treated to a photo booth, caricature artist,
chocolate fountain, Sauza tasting/giveaway booth, unlimited drink booths
with a delicious white cosmo as the specialty drink (thank you for
considering our white clothes!) wine, beer, and buffet dinner."

Nelson F loved "the smoked salmon scones, which were
inspired I'm sure to the ones they serve at French Laundry.  A waiter
walked around with these appetizers and we were lucky to have spotted
them when he walked by because we didn't see these any more.

Elyesse P explains, "Buffet was on point. The food was delicious. I was especially in love
with the seared ahi tuna steak with a side of unlimited roe and wasabi
mayo. Other notable mentions: stuffed chicken with goat cheese,
artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes. Moist and filled with
mouth-watering flavor. The potato gratin was sweeter than usual; me
likey. OH and how could I forget the prime rib with the horseradish
cream…Perfect."

There was no shortage of dessert explains Tracie L: "Dessert was on constant rotation. Initially there was a variety of
mousses and a chocolate fountain for you to dip marshmallows,
strawberries, and some type of short cake. Later there were red velvet,
vanilla, and regular cupcakes with bacon! The red velvet one was really
good. There was also this chocolate caramel cake, I would almost say it
was flourless 'cause it was pretty dense, but delish. Toward the end of
the night, the brownies and cookies started coming out. OMG the cookies
were yummy and warm fresh out the oven! Great way to end the night."

Stephanie P sums up the night well: "This was my very first Yelp Elite event and it definitely made me feel
well, like an elitist! Snagged some comfy red Yelp elite socks, Yelp
shot glasses, and a t-shirt. I would have never thought from driving by the Hilton
Garden Inn that the Marina Bar and Grill's venue would be so
breathtaking. A cool mix of an indoor bar with a ethereal outdoor patio,
an a separate banquet room which would be perfect for a private party. Thanks again Brittany B and team for a wonderful evening!"

Venice Paparazzi was there to capture all the moments of the night and Drunken Pixel photobooth made us all feel like kids again.
