Sending some love to "the valley" in January, LA East Elites gathered at Toluca Lake Spanish villa-turned-restaurant, D'Cache for a sexy night of sangria, tapas from new EC Phillip Lee, and live music, courtesy of Michael Batista.
While the bar was handing out carafes of house made sangria laced with a gorgeous amount of cinammon, orange, gin, and brandy (perfect on a winter's night), the kitchen pumped out small bites of Diver Scallop Pinxto in a bell pepper puree, Portabello Mushroom Flatbread with figs and blue cheese, Grilled Spanish Chorizo featuring Russian Caviar and Farm Raised Chicken Breast. The desserts were as delectable as well, including Dark Chocolate Bar with cayenne, salted pastry cream, and finger limes and Horchata Panna Cotta with caramel.
