On Tuesday evening, The Mitt Tex-Mex Cafe graciously opened its doors to 50 hungry Yelpers for an unforgettable taco throw down. Guests sampled nearly everything on the menu, including five unique tacos, house made rice and beans, three varieties of salsas, desserts, sangria and so much more! What elevated the event was the loving hospitality from owner, Enie Jamrog, and her entire family, who staffed the event. Enie shared her passed down family recipes to attendees, resulting in a prevalent family-owned and operated business success story.
To top it all off, Yelpers donated $250 to Best Buddies Florida – a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Mitt Tex-Mex Cafe owners raffled off “Mitt bucks” for five lucky winners to use when they return. Read all reviews of the event and check out the spectacular photos, courtesy of Nicole Krauss.
Yelp Jacksonville would personally like to thank the entire Mitt Tex-Mex Cafe family for their kindness and generosity in hosting the local Yelp community. They certainly have the passion and drive to run a family-owned business!
