Fresno’s Self-Care Sunday with Four Corners Yoga

Fresno Four Corners Yoga

This February, we were in need of a few winter warming vibes. Yelpers across the US and Canada took some time out for mindfulness for this Self-Care Sunday hosted by Four Corners Yoga in Fresno, California.

To recreate the experience of visiting the studio in person, we tuned in for a virtual tour of the space. The owner, Liana Pearce, led us through the facility. Four Corners features a retail space, a kombucha station, a social area for relaxing, and the studio room itself.

We also heard from Nayantara Rodrigues, who will tell us about her non-profit – Namaste for Compassion. Liana and Nayantara will lead us on a 40-minute meditation and yoga practice. The practice focused on self-compassion and self-love.

The name of the studio refers to focusing on the four corners of your own mat. The session reflected that, with Liana giving modifications for all skill levels. Nayantara demonstrated the basic postures, staying low to the ground, while Liana demonstrated some more advanced postures for strength building and a deeper stretch.

Attendees were entered to win a special giveaway with a grand prize from Yelp, Four Corners Yoga, Namaste for Compassion, AND lululemon Fig Garden!
