Over twenty Yelpers successfully sweated out 2015 during Yin & Juice on Saturday, January 23, at Beet Street Juicery. Kristy Schaefer, owner of The West Central Studio, led the intro to yoga basics classes. The classes were held in Beet Street’s Satori Room. This space is open to the whole community. If you need a break from this crazy world, you can peacefully use the space to reconnect your mind and body. Heck ya!
Yelpers enjoyed juice samplings of Beet Street’s most popular juices: Nomaste, Beet Life, and Green Jeans. Sherina Collier, the mastermind behind this awesome juice bar/community space, cooked up some delicious black bean brownies and spinach muffins. Sherina shared her story on the journey to opening Beet Street, the inspiration—her father’s battle with cancer. His smile hangs front and center in the Beet Street lounge.
Beet Street uses regional organic fruit and vegetable suppliers and local when possible. They offer an array of superfoods to add to any menu item or juice. Each juice is made fresh when you order. What’s the coolest part about Beet Street? Their glasses are to die for. Each juice is served in a glass Beet Street jar meant for you to take home and reuse on your next visit. Extra points for eco-friendly!
