Ormai gli Elite romani si sono abituati bene e non possono resistere per più di un mese senza un Elite Event a loro dedicato. Ecco quindi il secondo appuntamento della stagione, un evento yelposo al quale i nostri Elite e i loro ospiti sono accorsi numerosi e felici di incontrarsi di nuovo o per la prima volta. La location della serata di ottobre è stata il Vero Food to Move, nuovo neonato della famiglia "Vero".
"Food to Move… or Yelp to Stay?" perchè il Vero è il locale take-away per eccellenza, di quei pranzi "fast e poco furious", leggeri e semplici di cui abbiamo tanto bisogno quando siamo in pausa dal lavoro. Con questo nuovo locale, dopo l'altro in Via Marcantonio Colonna, il concetto di "Food to Move" lo abbiamo allargato a "Yelp to Stay", perchè il posto si presta ad essere vissuto con più relax e più calma, e un pranzo o una colazione qui non dev'essere solamente una toccata e fuga: da qui l'idea di un piano superiore con tavoli e sgabelli, wi-fi gratuito e piacevole musica di sottofondo. Ecco quindi gli Yelper nella patria del cibo americano da strada, con tutte le varianti del caso, da consumare piacevolmente e comodamente insieme.
Matteo, il "capoccia" del Vero, con la sua simpatia e la sua cortesia ha regalato a tutti un piacevole tardo pomeriggio, offrendo assaggi di tutte le bontà che è solito preparare con amore, strizzando un occhio all'America e riproponendo il tutto con quel tocco di italianità che non guasta. Ottime le baguette ripiene di diversi sapori e le quiches che ha offerto durante la serata, accompagnata da bicchieri di Pecorino e di Montepulciano.
Alba P racconta del "divertente 'applausometro umano' per decretare il vincitore dell'Oscar per la miglior recensione di Settembre": in finale erano arrivati l'Elite Francesca D con la sua recensione su Babette e il controcorrente e provocatore Francesco M, con la sua recensione spietata su Eataly. L'applausometro ha premiato l'irriverente Francesco M che si è aggiudicato un set da 6 bicchierini da "shot" (ottimo premio, per un astemio!) ma anche una bella maglia rossa "I Love Yelp". Fabrizio F narra di "nuovi amici, un locale carino con un taglio unico e con cibo e bevande
di qualità". Ma soprattutto "i sorrisi, il rumore e la gioia nei visi di yelper vecchi e
nuovi. Poche ore tutte gustate fino in fondo!"
Grazie di cuore, come sempre, al fotografo più figo di Roma, Riccardo Riande, per le foto e il video che come sempre rendono bene l'idea della serata ben riuscita, a Matteo Vietri, direttore del Vero, per averci ospitato e deliziato nel suo nuovo locale, e ovviamente alla mia "stagista schiava" nonchè "mamma preferita" Alba P per avermi aiutato nell'organizzazione logistica, al mio Elite Fabrizio F per essere venuto a darmi una mano in anticipo! E a tutti gli Yelper intervenuti all'evento, un grazie enorme va senz'altro a VOI, siete sempre VOI il mio ingrediente segreto per aver reso anche questo secondo Elite Event un successo!

Roman Elites have a new good habit and cannot stay for more than a month without an Elite Event dedicated to them. So here it is: the second event of the season, an event which our Elite and their guests were happy to meet again or for the first time. The location of the October evening was "Vero Food to Move", the new baby of the little family of "Vero" shops.
"Food to Move … or Yelp to Stay? ": it's a true story! Because Vero is THE take-away spot par excellence, perfect for our "fast lunches but not too furious", for our light and simple lunches we need so much when we do a break from work. With this new restaurant after another in Via Marcantonio Colonna, the concept of "Food to Move" (we have expanded to "Yelp to Stay)", because the place is suitable to be lived with more relax, and lunch or breakfast here is so sweet, hence the idea of a higher floor with tables and stools, wi-fi and pleasant background music. Here we are: 35 happy Yelpers in the home of American food from the street, to be consumed pleasantly and comfortably together.
Matteo, the "Boss" of the place, gave us all the pleasure of a late afternoon snack, offering tastings of all the goodness that he prepares with love, a touch of America and reinventing it all with a touch of Italian style . Excellent baguettes stuffed with different flavors and quiches were served during the evening, all that accompanied by glasses of Pecorino and Montepulciano wines.
Alba P tells about the "fun 'human applause' to vote the winner of the Oscar for the best review of September". Elite Francesca D with its review of Babette and provocateur Francesco M, with the his ruthless review of Eataly. The irreverent Francesco M won the contest: a set of 6 shot glasses (great prize for a teetotaler!) but also a nice red shirt "I Love Yelp." Fabrizio F narrates about "new friends, a nice time with a single cutting and quality food and drink".
