During this holiday season, the Yelp Elite Squad was whisked into a decadent wonderland of treats like none other: Sweets in Le Pavillon Hotel suites! With the hotel’s recent renovations, Yelpers were surprised at the modernism, yet lavishness the hotel exuded. With hints of purple velvet, gold trimmings, and over the top furniture, every picture was the perfect photo op.
Not only is Le Pavillon Hotel a perfect recommendation for visiting friends and family to stay, it’s also the perfect spot for a unique cocktail perfectly curated by the bar.

Fun Fact: The hotel lobby bar, Cachette 1907, was once owned by Al Capone himself.
The hotel experience was absolutely amazing! The decor of the entire building including the lobby area was brimming with luxury. -Yelp Elite, Jessica T
We started out at the gorgeous bar, which is great for locals and visitors alike. The drinks are all handcrafted, affordable, and delicious. This spot is going to be a regular when friends want to meet in the CBD for drinks. You can’t beat the comfy couches and gorgeous decor that add to the extravagant atmosphere.-Yelp Elite, Amanda C
Everything was so opulent at this restored property with the beautiful entrance that was just so inviting. The bar area was welcoming and very comfortable for a nice after-work drink if you are trying to avoid traffic. The renovated suites were warm and welcoming. -Yelp Elite, Larry P

Yelp Tip: Ask your bartender about the famous bullet hole and how the bar was transported to New Orleans!
What’s beautiful about Cachette 1907 is that the cocktail menu rotates depending on the season and the spirit of the team behind the bar. Every bartender concocts a libation that fits the recent theme of the drink menu. Go ahead, ask the team which cocktail they were responsible for and hear how it came to fruition.

The place was full of history. It was very luxurious with gold everywhere and old portrait paintings and big frames. Filled with sparkling chandeliers and stunningly beautiful mirrors everywhere, I would say this is a wonderful place for royalty. -Yelp Elite, Immanuel L
After our first round of libations, Yelp Elites were given private access to the restaurant space and the history of one painting with a very unique backstory. The sole painting in the restaurant was sold to the property under three conditions: (1) it must be the only portrait of a woman in the room, (2) the painting must never leave New Orleans, and (3) the woman’s identity must remain anonymous and it still does to this day.

If this Yelp Elite experience couldn’t get better, the head chef himself showcased their famous 24k gold dusted wings. (We’re not kidding!) Gold dusted wings that are fit for the Greek gods and goddesses themselves. Not only are they beautiful to look at but their flavor palette was truly divine.

This property has gone through a major renovation and may I say Bonjour Madame Pavillon! – Re H
Le Pavillon Hotel has six distinguished suites with each one expressing a unique personality that emulates the spirit of New Orleans. No two are alike and each one is worth exploring or treating yourself to a one-of-a-kind staycation or celebration. We were able to explore three of the seven and Yelp Elites were in awe of each suite highlighted.

Yelp Elite Testimonials
We visited 3 suites: Frenchmen, Napoleon, and Bourbon. The Frenchmen suite was the most modern-looking and was quite stunning. I fancy the Napoleon suite that is complete with one of three of Napoleon’s bathtubs (it’s pure marble). The Bourbon suite is a little more rustic and made me feel like I was in a cabin by the lake… -Yelp Elite, Alexis C
My favorite room was the music-themed Frenchman street, especially with the magical playing piano! -Yelp Elite, Elizabeth D

The highlight of the evening was the dessert spread in each suite! These sweet bites were not only beautiful, but worth every calorie.
On behalf of the Yelp New Orleans Elite Squad, we all agree: The Le Pavillon Hotel is a must this coming holiday season! With six distinguished suites, each one expresses a unique personality that emulates the spirit of New Orleans.
