Tucson’s Agave Heritage Week, aka, one of the 7 best boozy festivals around the world, according to Bravo TV, is back and in full force through May 7th! Local businesses, chefs and the community are partaking in celebrating all things agave through a series of events that include agave roasting and preparation, tastings, seminars, artist receptions and the official event proclamation from Mayor Jonathan Rothschild. We’re shining some light on the inaugural MEZcrawl taking over downtown on Thursday, May 4th.
Starting at Hydra, you will pick up your map and walk your way to participating bars offering agave spirits, unique cocktails and lite bites. Good Oak Bar, R Bar, Penca, Borderlands Brewing Company and Charro Steak are waiting for you!
Can you guess who will be featuring a “Mezcaloma” paired with popcorn with Oaxacan Worm Salt? Or a cocktail that combines Aperol with a corn infused Mezcal? A special cross border collabrewation beer will also be making its debut during this event!
The crawl is from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m, this Thursday, May 4th. Get your tickets today and be a part of this ultimate urban adventure!
General admission is $25 or $40 if you’d like to take home a commemorative t-shirt.
