And that wasn’t even everything our Yelp Elite Squad and their families enjoyed at this year’s Community Fall Fest at Pine Ridge Acres in Cumberland, ME!

There was SO much to do – my crew and I particularly enjoyed the petting zoo, hay ride, potato cannon, and concessions! The bumble bee themed hay ride was adorable and each seat was given a bumble bee themed name. One free shot on the potato cannon was included with each admission – we made sure to use it well! This potato cannon was no joke and packed a punch as it hurled our potatoes towards our chosen targets. Last but certainly not least, we made sure to taste test the fall goodies. The donuts were incredible – it was so neat to see their production from dough to fryer to finish. So incredibly fresh!

Such a great family day for the kids and adults! So much to do: corn maze (easy or hard), pumpkin patch, sunflower picking, potato cannon, corn box, bee ride, and so much more. The kids had a blast on the huge bubble jumper and loved the stamps guiding them through the corn maze. The concession stand is a MUST. Doughnuts are made to order which come out nice and warm – perfect for a crisp fall day! Can’t forget the apple cider which tasted super refreshing after running around in the corn maze. Petting zoo is very cute and there were various little pumpkin games like basketball and tic-tac-toe. Everybody had a great time and would definitely come back with the rest of the family!

About Pine Ridge Acres

“Sunrise Acres and Spring Ledge Farm are the historic names of our property.  Today, we are known as Pine Ridge Acres. You will see our cattle and crops grow along picturesque fields in Falmouth and Cumberland, Maine.  Beginning in 2005, a local family stepped forward to steward these lands for future generations while helping to maintain our state’s agricultural heritage. A big part of that comes from growing great food. You can find our all natural and grass-fed beef, turkey, chickens, and eggs in the well-stocked, self-serve farm store. Our farm store also features other local meats including pork and lamb, local dairy, and many other Maine made products. We value the importance of supporting local agriculture and want our customers to be able to know where their food comes from. In addition to our animals, during the summers we focus on land and crop management in our fields. We work in tandem with many local neighbors to help maintain and preserve their fields as well. Through these mutually beneficial relationships, we are able to diligently produce top quality hay that feeds our own animals year round as well as many nearby farms. In the fall we harvest the pumpkins, gourds and squash that we planted earlier in the summer. Pine Ridge Acres works hard to be a supportive member of the Maine farming community by providing our customers with a wide range of food and products that will feed their own families and allow their homes to grow.”
