Lunedì 10 settembre è partita ufficialmente la stagione degli eventi Elite romani. Cinquanta sorridenti Yelper hanno varcato le soglie del Soul Kitchen, nel quartiere di San Lorenzo, per vivere una serata all'insegna del buon cibo, dell'ottimo vino e dell'allegria, felici di potersi finalmente incontrare di persona, dopo tanto dialogare sul sito.
Gli Yelper hanno apprezzato la fantastica location del Soul Kitchen, "locale spazioso e curato, dal design colorato e particolare", come lo definisce il novello Giuseppe D. Piacevole e accogliente la terrazza esterna con tanto di pergolato, dove gli invitati hanno potuto accomodarsi per godere del clima settembrino romano.
"Una tavola imbandita a dare odore e profumo": così Francesco M descrive il ricco buffet, dove in bella mostra spiccavano verdure grigliate, verdure al vapore, parmigiana, insalata di farro, insalata di mare e tante altre prelibatezze culinarie pugliesi che sono state accompagnate da selezionati vini bianchi e rossi. Simone, uno dei proprietari, ha offerto anche "spiegazioni degne di un sommelier": parola di Manuele J.
Tra chiacchiere e risate, nuovi incontri e facce già note, si arriva al momento della sorpresa. Yelp Roma ha organizzato una divertente riffa per tutti gli Yelper partecipanti. In premio, biglietti omaggio per il Taste of Roma e due fantastiche magliette rosso Yelp! I fortunati vincitori sono stati Silvia L, Paolo R, Despina A, Barbara B e Nunzio Attilio T. Non è mancata neanche una nota di internazionalità, con la presenza degli Elite Michael K da Portland e Kathryn S da Miami. La serata si è conclusa con un simpatico photo-booth, dove Elite e Yelpers hanno posato sorridenti celebrando la Yelp Life!
"Serate come questa mi rallegrano il cuore" così commenta l'evento Francesca D e Stefania C aggiunge che "è stato tutto spontaneo, naturale, divertente e soprattutto utile". Come non citare il commento di Francesco M, un novello di Yelp, che ha ben compreso lo spirito della nostra Community : "il virtuale mutato in reale; dal linguaggio
scritto, celato dietro uno schermo, all'incontro fisico, al contatto. Una
comunità in cui ci si sente protagonisti, e non soggetti passivi. E' questo il grande successo di
Yelp!".

Monday, September 10th officially started the season Elite events in Rome. Fifty
smiling Yelpers, crossed the doorstep of Soul Kitchen, in San Lorenzo neighborhood, to live an evening full of delicious food, good wine and great atmosphere, happy to finally be able to meet in person, after so
much talk on the site.
Yelpers enjoyed the fantastic location of Soul Kitchen, "spacious
venue and neat, with a colorful and unique design", as defined by the new Yelper Giuseppe D. There was also a nice and cozy outside terrace complete with pergola, and here guests were able to sit down to enjoy the september roman breeze.
The
buffet offered was rich and yummy with stood grilled vegetables, steamed vegetables, parimigiana, farro salad, seafood salad and many other culinary delights of
Puglia, together with selected white and red wines. Simone, one of the owners, gave also "explanations worthy of a sommelier": word of Manuel J.
Chatting and laughing, new meetings between new and old Yelpers, we arrive at the moment of the surprise. Yelp Roma organized a fun raffle for all the participants at the event. As a reward, free tickets for Taste of Roma and two red Yelp t-shirts! The lucky winners were: Silvia L, Paolo R, Despina A, Barbara B and Nunzio Attilio A. The presence of the Elite Michael K from Portland and Kathryn S from Miami gave to the night an international flavour. The evening ended with a nice photo-booth, where Elite and Yelpers posed smiling celebrating Yelp Life!
"Nights like this are good for my heart": this is the comment of Francesca D and Stefania C adds: "everything was spontaneous, funny and, most of all, useful". Francesco M, a brand new Yelper, summarize well the spirit of our Community: "in events like this, the virtual becomes real; from the written language hidden behind a screen to the real meetings. A community where we feel as main characters. This is the great success of Yelp!"
