Hollywood is really coming into its own! Downtown Hollywood is now home to the trendy and artsy CIRC Hotel
. While the hotel is great for a staycation, locals can also drop in anytime to dine at its chic restaurant, Olivia
. The upscale Italian restaurant boasts generation-old recipes for a beautifully Italian taste, with a modern American twist.
Last Wednesday, members of the Fort Lauderdale Elite Squad were treated to a carefully curated nine-course menu. Guests were greeted with Lychee Martinis adorned with whipped cream and a powdered gold hashtag.
The first three courses consisted of appetizers which included: the Chef’s Selection of fresh, made-on-site Mozzarella; Salmon Carpaccio and Beef Carpaccio.
Next up, was Olivia’s Mushroom Risotto, which consisted of Italian rice, tossed with porcini mushrooms in a delicate butter parmigiano sauce; Pappardelle with Short Rib Ragu, a crowd favorite of flat ribbon noodles in a braised short rib tomato sauce; Skirt Steak served alongside asparagus, and roasted potatoes; Chicken Picatta, organic chicken in a white wine lemon butter caper sauce; and Salmon Rubino, sautéed fresh Alaskan salmon, topped in a delicate pink lobster bisque.
The final course was the sweetest of all, Pistachio Tortufa and a Cannoli; but, the event still wasn’t over. Elites ended the night on CIRC’s rooftop lounge, The Muse, for a nightcap and to take in the picturesque views of Downtown Hollywood.
