7月の２回目のエリートイベントは六本木で卵料理で有名な「eggcellent」にて。参加者も楽しみにしていたイベントです！
We were super excited to host this month’s second Elite Event at Roppongi Hills’ famous egg specialty restaurant: eggcellent.
エッグセレントは卵料理で有名なだけではなく、東京の六本木ヒルズから朝文化を発信しているお店でもあります。厳選された食材でエネルギッシュな1日をスタートさせるのにもってこいの場所です！
Not only is eggcellent one of the best restaurants for Eggs Benedict in Tokyo, but it is also a restaurant creating a “morning culture” out of Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills. Only using selected ingredients, it is a popular cafe/restaurant energizing customers for a great day.
エッグセレントの入り口はかわいい卵の形に参加者もワクワクしながら入場！食事の前には最近行ったおすすめのスポットをYelpエリート 3人から聞いてブックマークをするアクティビティをしたよ！もちろんこれはエリートとして当たり前なこと。
Blown away by the cute egg-themed interior, Yelpers entered the restaurant to find beautiful dishes waiting beside their seats. But before digging in, Elites were asked to bookmark three places that other Elites thought were extraordinary! Sharing great businesses is a lifestyle for these Elites.
eggcellentのCOOである神宮寺希望様からブランドの挨拶とともに、毎週開催されている朝活イベント、そして新メニューの料理を紹介をいただきました！
Soon after, Elites were welcomed by the COO of eggcellent, Nozomi Jinguji, about why she started the restaurant, the Asakatsu events that they host every week, and the dishes from their new menu.
おなかが空いて早く食べたい気持ちのエリート達ですが、もちろん食べる前にはみんな写真を撮りまくり！今回のコースはEggcellent特製のキヌアのエッグベネディクト、アボカドトースト、オリジナルヨーグルトトースト、クリームブリュレパンケーキ、エッグセレントサラダなど贅沢にたくさんの種類を出していただきました。「ご飯を使ったエッグベネディクト？」と思った方がほとんどですが、これは美味しい！まるで高級卵かけ御飯のようです。日本ならではの発想ですね！
Everybody was way beyond hungry at this point, but couldn’t miss out on a photo opportunity. The dishes that we had this time were the AM eggcellent quinoa benedict, Avocado Toast, Original Yogurt Toast, Creme Burulee Pancakes, eggcellent Tostada, and the eggcellent Salad. Wait, a rice-based Eggs Benedict? Skeptical Elites were caught surprised with a flavor that reminds them of “Tamago Kake Gohan.” This concept would only happen in Japan!
食後はイベントの目玉！エッグベネディクトの実演を神宮寺さんから披露。オランデーソースや、ポーチドエッグの簡単な作り方をレクチャーしてもらいました。女性陣だけでなく、男性からも質問が飛び交いました！
As we finished eating, Miss Jinguji had another surprise for us. She prepared a session to teach us how to make eggcellent’s original Eggs Benedict! With the instructions written on the back of the menu, Elites were asking questions and taking videos throughout the demonstration.
今回のイベントのドレスコードはイエロー。ベストドレッサー賞に選ばれたWendy Gさん、 Jimmy Hさん、 Koichi Sさん、 Mizue Sさんには景品として今後使える展示会の招待券をプレゼント。Eggcellentにはこちらの写真で使われたような、緑がすてきな個室もありますよ！お子様連れにも安心ですね。
To finish off this event, four outstanding best dressers were awarded with separate pair tickets to upcoming Art Exhibits in the city. Congrats Wendy G, Jimmy H, Koichi S, and Mizue S!
また、最近エリートになったKomaba Kさん、 すみこさん、 Nhina Sさんを表彰。Yelpオリジナル水筒をプレゼントしました。エリートおめでとうございます！
Also, we can’t forget our new Elites who joined the event. We congratulated Komaba K, Sumiko, and Nhina S with Yelp’s brand new white water bottles! Congrats again! It’s neat to be Elite!
