This June, to celebrate Pride Month, the East Bay South community was thrilled to gather at LGBTQ-owned Sabio on Main, an elegant and casual restaurant in the heart of beautiful downtown Pleasanton.
Attendees enjoyed a private dining experience with four different food stations along with drink pairings. Food pairings included strawberry gazpacho and sparkling brut wine, venison meatballs with Cabernet Sauvignon, chorizo avocado quail toast with Tempranillo, white chocolate bacon donuts with an Aztec chocolate Old-Fashioned. Each attendee took home their own Yelp wine glass!
Our soirée at Sabio in Downtown Pleasanton reminds me why I became Yelp Elite. I really missed these in-person events. It was really nice to meet other like-minded food lovers who are also local to the area and re-meet others who I haven’t seen since pre-pandemic. For this event, we got to sample some unique food and wine pairings… Thank you Sabio on Main and to Yelp CM Alicia F. for spoiling us Yelp Elites. Definitely will be dragging someone here on date night in the near future.Yelp Elite Nina Z
Thanks to our event partner Sabio on Main!
