Braving the torrential downpour and heavy traffic proved more than worth it for Peninsula and South Bay Elites. Wining and dining on beauteous passed bites and a exquisitely prepared five-course dinner (and let's not forget the flowing and mind-blowing mango lassi) at Rasa Contemporary Indian—an impeccable new addition to the downtown Burlingame scene. The food was distinguished, perfectly prepared, and bursting with South Indian flavor, but it was restaurant owner Ajay Walia and his entire team who stole the show with their passion for hospitality, presentation, and savoir-faire.
