Diner’s Delight In Downtown Nashville

When it comes to hotel restaurants, Nashville’s experiencing a boom. When it comes to hotel restaurants with a connection to history, stellar service, elevated familiar takes on local cuisine, and hidden surprises, well, that’s a bit more rare. Luckily for Nashville, there’s a place like Makeready Libations and Liberation. Settled in the former vault space of the gorgeous Noelle hotel, Makeready pays homage to its bootlegger and Prohibition past by serving up unique cocktails and farm-to-table comfort food. Chef Fraske conjured up a multi-course family-style dinner that left Elites and their guests speechless. Literally. When the plates hit the table, you could hear a pin drop. When you can make that happen in a dining room full of foodies, you’ve accomplished something remarkable. From soaring ceilings and industrial posts to addictive carrot dishes, savory chicken (yes, chicken), local trout, expertly-fired steak, potatoes that will make you weep, and the best chocolate cake you have had in ages, the food program at Makeready has been newly revamped and equals the best of what Music City can offer. The namesake libations stand on their own as well, with concerted effort to promote local sips to spotlight the best of the Volunteer State. There are other secrets surrounding libations to be found at Makeready but that’s for you to discover… #printersalleyrealness Ecstatic Elites wrote their rave reviews here and you can get your FOMO from the photos here. Long gone are the days of sparse activity in and around Printer’s Alley. Thanks to historically-minded boutique hotels like the Noelle and food-forward and locally-focused restaurants like Makeready, tourist and local Nashvillian alike are being treated to a brand new Nashville.
