On Wednesday, December 4th, Detroit Elites enjoyed a delicious night of wine and steak at Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse.
Guests were treated to a wine tasting featuring 6 delicious bottles plus an informational session on each vino. Then, guests enjoyed a spread of several appetizers including tenderloin with caramelized onion relish and horseradish on baguette, crab cakes with roasted pepper remoulade, Johnny’s stuffed sausage bread and more.
Then there was the Steak 101 course led by Johnny’s executive chef where guests learned about various popular cuts of meat, flavor profiles, preference and proper cooking techniques and tips. Johnny’s amazing bar staff then lead the group though a cocktail demonstration and were prepared a signature cocktail to wind down the night. Guests were also invited to tour of the property which opened less than a year ago and chance to win a “play and stay” at the hotel and discount offer to Johnny’s for a future visit.
