Feel that? That's what a little R&R feels like. Well, at least that's what the hundreds of yelpers who participated in Yelp Columbus's Passport to Relaxation week felt. For six days in May, yelpers booked themselves a free, totally blissed out ticket to an entire week of events involving yoga, candlee-making, herbal refreshments, meditation, massage and more at some of Columbus's AHHHH-mazing spots!

Leading yelpers in downward-facing dog and vinyasa poses, visualizations and stress-relieving techniques, Columbus yoga powerhouses Yoga on High, L-Yoga Flow, Balanced Yoga and Burn hosted free Urban Zen, Hatha, Hot and Power Yoga classes. Both new and familiar students were able to try out new styles or perfect familiar poses with the help of the instructors.

Take a sniff! Sharing how aromas transform spaces and allow the ability create your own place of zen in any room, The Candle Lab led a free candle-making session where yelpers were able to pick-and-choose their own scents. Sarah S is "pretty sure she smelled about 80% of the scents possible before picking her 20 or so favorites. I finally narrowed it down to my 3 just by picking the ones that smelled best together… dark chocolate + strawberry jam + vanilla bean = one awesome, neapolitan ice cream scented candle."
"A sip of each in a cascade of teas, a sample of foods, pop quizzes with rare tea prizes, and fistfuls of bacon. Yeah, okay, it all adds up to five stars." What's Matthew B talking about you ask? Well that's the opening line of his recap of Yelp's Tea History, Sampling and Food Pairing Night @ ZenCha. "I would guess some of the heads in the audience were positively spinning from the nomenclature, history, culture, and scientific concepts all thrown at us in one go. A little bit of everything in every way- works for me!" We'll take that as a compliment! Similarly, Gwen W just can't say enough good things about the "fabulous, fabulous, fabulous event" hosted by TehKu Tea! Yelp's Herbal Tea Tasting & More gave yelpers a behind-the-scenes view of TehKu owner, Inggrie M's living dream with samples of nearly a half-dozen teas and complimentary scones & cakes. First-to-arrive yelpers also signed up to be treated to complimentary reflexology sessions from RR Footworks and a meditation session from Living Lotus Wellness.

Reiki, reflexology, cranioSacral therapy, sound healing with tuning forks and massages went down at The Reiki Center for Yelp's Reiki & Reflexology night, too! Gwen W confirms "this was a soothing event. Calm music. Warm colors. Wonderful, polite staff. I plan to go back – my body doesn't want to wait another day!" Ours either, G.
And closing out the week, nearly a hundred yelpers attended the Passport to Relaxation Finale Party at 400 W. Rich with cupcakes from CupNest, snacks & local products from Celebrate Local, beverages from Luna Komboucha, Pepsi & Honest Tea, free body product samples from Whole Foods, complimentary hand & arm massages from Nurtur the Salon and even a free yoga class from instructors from Yoga on High and Balanced yoga.
