What a fabulous kickoff to 2019! Yelp North Shore Elites and one singing/dancing local farmer celebrity were invited by husband and wife restaurant owners, Kathia and Ryan Jones, to celebrate Gotta B Crepes’ new permanent location in Evanston. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a micro greens salad, bacon maple breakfast crepe and lox crepe samplers, and homemade straw-raspberry lemonade. After enjoying some appetizers, guests had the opportunity to order a savory crepe off the main menu. During dinner, multi-talented farmer Chuck from Swingbelly Farm, who provides local products to the restaurant (and also happens to be Santa in an Oreo commercial), graced everyone with the background of his business and sang a little ditty for everyone. Ryan and Kathia talked about their humble beginnings that started right from their front porch. The night wrapped up with a specialty layered crepe cake, champagne, more custom dessert crepes, and of course the grand finale Yelp crepe––available in the restaurant through February. Guests received custom Yelp Elite pin buttons and a custom sticker for their new Yelp sticker passport books. Check out the five-star reviews and peep the photos here.
