There's nothing better than a Carolina evening hangin' with your buddies, drinking a beer on a beautiful patio. Charlotte Elites definitely indulged in that, and so much more, at Zink. American Kitchen!
The warm, summer air was filled with the aroma of Zink's delicious American fare – including three types of sliders, fabulous flatbreads, candied pork belly, deconstructed caprese, proscuitto wrapped peaches and more! And the food just kept coming…plate after plate after plate!
Good thing the fine folks at New Belgium Brewing wet those whistles with a seemingly unlimited amount of beer. There was definitely something for everyone – Ranger, Rippel, Somersault and Fat Tire! And for all those winos out there, Milestone Wine Group poured 3 Girls Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Fancy fancy and delicious!
Elites meandered and mingled throughout Zink's gorgeous patio and took a moment to write a letter to the troops. Thanks to intern Annie, this card making station was chock full of everything yelpers needed to say thanks in the biggest way. All these kind cards will be sent to Operation Gratitude so that soldiers overseas can experience a little Yelp love from the homefront.
Jonathan Brooks and Ben Peeler serenaded everyone with their smooth acoustic tunes that set a perfect backdrop for the evening. And, Ms. Tonya P of Poprock Photography was on hand to capture everyone's delight thoughout the evening. Make sure to check out all the photos on Yelp Charlotte's Flickr page – there are quite a few Elites who sassily sported the myriad of Americana swag draped through the patio!

Until next time, SYOY!
