Celebrate Earth Month with Yelp Cleveland

Cleveland is called the Forest City for a good reason! This spring, Yelp Cleveland is teaming up with local businesses to celebrate all things Earth Month for Yelp Gets Planted. Whether you’re interested in living consciously, reducing your carbon footprint, eating healthier, or shopping fair trade, join us to discover local businesses in Cleveland to help you celebrate Earth Month. Be good to yourself and Mother Earth. These events are FREE and open to anyone with a Yelp profile with a real name and clear face photo.

Yelp Gets Flavorful with Adun Spice Co.

April 11 – April 16 during business hours – Shaker Heights

Adun Spice Co. is a new woman-owned, Black-owned business led by Ramat Wiley known for its commitment to local, healthy, organic, and fair trade spices and goods. Ramat will be debuting a brand new spice into her line and Yelpers will be the first to try! From Ramat: “This blend is awesome in coffee, tea, smoothies, and desserts, to name a few!”

Yelp Goes Global with One World Shop CLE

April 18 – April 22 during business hours – Rocky River

Visit One World Shop to receive a fair trade bundle including a worry doll (Guatemala), package of Twin Engine Coffee (Nicaragua), and Global Groove Life natural incense (made in Nepal). While you meet the shop, enjoy fair trade coffee and a baked good from Women’s Bean Project. We’ll also welcome Cleveland Seed Bank with ways to locally help monarch butterflies, save seeds, and where to find their seed libraries throughout the city.

Yelp Melts with Lotus Candles

April 25 – April 29 during business hours – Cleveland Heights

Join us to find your signature scent with a a complimentary wax fragrance warmer set from Lotus Candles! Lotus Candles is a new, female and Black-owned business in Larchmere. All products are hand-poured and all natural, made with love by owner Gwen and her family and features a variety of scents to suit all personality types.

Yelp’s Plant Parenting 101

May 10 – May 14 during business hours – Shaker Heights

STUMP Cleveland believes that you can, in fact, keep a plant alive. They believe in you, and we do too! Visit the popular succulent bar at STUMP to personally pot a complimentary succulent or cactus friend and fill out a plant care card. You’ll learn all about repotting, light, and watering requirements as you take away a new plant for your home.
