The best of Yelp NYC wound their way on Wednesday night to Williamsburg's The
Counting Room for a little bit of sin and gin. (OK fine, a LOT of both.) Between bowties and blazers, Brooklynites dressed to impress, and of course, kept it classy.
Vince, the masterful mixologist manning the venue's subterranean cocktail bar, took Breuckelen
Distilling Company's gin (handmade from scratch, using
only raw ingredients, this
local product is of the highest quality), and cooked up The Gowanus Fizz, a refreshing libation lovely on such a hot evening. After several (:: cough :: seven :: cough ::), I know Rusty R was rocking out.
The cocktails were complemented by both pear and apple Original
Sin cider and delicious bar snacks courtesy of the Counting Room
kitchen, like mini grilled cheese sandwiches and perfect little crostini. All in all, it was a swanky soiree to
huge thank you goes out to Ruth and The Counting Room staff for
welcoming the Yelp Elite into the beautiful bar. If you made it, make
