Boston Elites pleY at Bella Luna & The Milky Way Lounge

Sometimes, we have fancy events. Other times, we have brunch events. But this time around, we decided to have a silly event chock full of games, great food and copious amounts of cocktails! Enter our night at Bella Luna & The Milky Way Lounge, where 125 Boston Elites gathered on Wednesday to partake in some friendly competition at pleY, a game night for adults!

Once inside Bella Luna & The Milky Way Lounge's expansive new space within the Samuel Adams Brewery, Elites had their choice of entertainment, from board games including Monopoly, Scrabble, Cranium, Trivial Pursuit and Bananagrams, to a life-size Connect Four board and Wii Bowling, Tennis and Baseball! To keep hydrated, Elites sipped on serious sauce, featuring Pearl Vodka and El Mayor Tequila cocktails crafted by the bar staff especially for this event, ice-cold cans of 'Gansett and a selction of white and red wine!

Obviously, all this sportsmanlike conduct is going to work up an appetite and the folks at Bella Luna went all out! Guests noshed on a crudité spread, featuring crispy fresh vegetables, hummus, roasted garlic-balsamic dip, and guacamole, while plate after plate of tapas made their way out of the kitchen. A favorite among the crowd, including Caitlin C, Dennis K and Mary B, was the Crispy Sweet Potato with Buffalo Chicken and Gorgonzola! And for those who's sweet tooth needed some love, the dessert table was overflowing with peanut butter tarts, glazed honey and vanilla bean strawberries, and blueberry-lemon cheesecake parfait!

And that's not all! We took a short break in the action to raffle off some seriously sweet prizes: tickets to Wine Riot and passes to The Boston Underground Film Festival! Wine Riot (incase you haven't heard!), put on by the folks over at The Second Glass, is super fun expo-style wine tasting taking place over three massive sessions on April 16th & 17th, where you can swirl, sniff and sip over 250 wines from around the world in a hip, down-to-earth, party-vibe setting! Thanks to our friends Morgan and Tyler, co-founders of The Second Glass, Jen H and Chris M won a pair of tickets each to the Saturday afternoon session! The Boston Underground Film Festival, kicking off this week, runs March 25 through April 1 at the Kendall Square Cinema, featuring the bizarre and insane sideshow of sight and sound sure to delight even the most twisted and perverse of tastes. Thanks to Anna F, Festival Director, Hemanth G won tickets to a screening of his choice, while Anna P scored a full pair of festival passes, which gets her into all the great film showings and parties!
