Combine NZ made artisanal cheeses with small-batch ciders from up North (Zeffer) and you’ve got yourself a winning combination. Just ask the Auckland Elites who came along to Wednesday’s matching masterclass at The Dairy. Zeffer’s Zesty Citrus Cider and Tuturemoana cheese toasties kicked off the evening in a delicious fashion and were followed by four more mouth-watering matches. However, for many, the best was saved 'til last – vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two ginger kisses, drizzled with the most gloriously sticky Slack Ma Girdle cider reduction.
