And the Winner Is…. “Ride My Mustache!”

Yelp Baltimore Elites have a battle of the wits and a match of the mustaches courtesy of Cafe Einstein and TriviaTryst.

Little known fact: 99% of Einstein's smarts stemmed from his mustache, not his mind. I mean, come on – with facial hair like that, the man's 'stache had a mind of its own.

Yelp Baltimore kicked off Mustache March in honor of Einstein at his namesake Cafe Einstein with a battle of the wits courtesy of TriviaTryst.

Lina B couldn't say 'yes' fast enough: "I am a huge fan of bar trivia. I also have a weird love for mustaches. So, of course I jumped on my RSVP to this event!"  Little did she and the other Elites know, the brain food provided by Cafe Einstein would get them geeked too.

"The bite-size meatballs and jalapeño cornbread also hit the spot," says Vitaliy N. And "last but not least, the pasta salad was terrific. Sauce wasn't overwhelming and the bell peppers were a pleasant kick to a simple dish."

Danielle R had her eyes on the "spinach pinwheels and sausage stuffed pastries (def had a hard time not going back for seconds….or maybe thirds)," she admits, vowing "I will definitely be venturing back soon to try more of the German-inspired dishes, indulge myself in the desserts, and link up with some free Wi-fi."

The restaurant, which features both German and Italian-inspired foods, just opened within the last year and now has a new fan in Nina U: "Cafe Einstein is the cutest little nook hidden on Eastern Ave and I would have probably driven right past it without noticing had it not been for this great Yelp event. Anytime someone invites us out to try a new spot, treats us with snacks, wine, and tops it off with trivia…for free…is a fabulous time in my book!"

Also new to Baltimore: TriviaTryst. Based in NYC and DC, "Yelp's 'Stache Bash Trivia Night" was the company's FIRST EVENT in Bmore.  Host Bryce Galen did not disappoint!  "Our trivia emcee from TriviaTryst was pleasant and had a great playlist – always important while you are contemplating your answer," says Jen W. "The questions included topics related to math, music, chemistry, pop culture, tv, sports and more. It was challenging and fun. It was made more fun with our team's win. Woo hoo! "

That winning team? "RIDE MY MUSTACHE." Each member walked away with new Yelp and TriviaTryst T-shirts!

They weren't the only yelpers who walked away winners, though. Raffle winners lucked up on tickets to see Charm City Roller Girls in action next weekend and one smarty pants winner got the grand prize: two gala tickets to a sold-out fundraiser for Blind Industries and Services of Maryland.
