Last month’s Elite event at Rails Steakhouse is an evening that Yelp Elite will be talking about for years to come. This absolutely massive and breathtaking property is hard to put into words… but we’ll do our best! Here’s how the night went down:
The event kicked off outdoors on the vista terrace. As Yelpers checked in they sipped on sangria while getting to know fellow event-goers. Once all 40 guests were checked in we got to meet Pat and Mike (Rail’s directors of events and operations). We learned all about the rich history of Rails and got a glimpse into the inspiration behind this gorgeous steakhouse. Every inch was carefully curated, and the amount of work that went into the creating the space is mind blowing.
After that it was time for a tour! When we said that the property was expansive, we weren’t lying. Throughout the space there are several private and open dining spaces where you can enjoy anything from a date night to a small wedding. Wood and trees are present throughout the entire space which create a homey and rustic feel. Guests got to explore the hidden speakeasy, the dry age room and the wine cellar. We were even lucky enough to check out Rails newest addition — an underground wine cave that is home to many exclusive private parties and events.
After that it was time for dinner! We retreated back to the vista terrace for a smorgasbord of decadent eats. Each guest was served Maryland crab cakes, lamb lollies, Chilean sea bass and grilled Spanish octopus… and that was just the start.
Next up it was time for the main event… the meat! Yelpers enjoyed 30 day dry aged prime NY striploin with hash browns, sautéed mushrooms and bordelaise sauce.
And did we have room for dessert? Of course! The night ended sweetly with half-baked brownie bars and Rails signature butter cake. Each guest also received a to-go bag with a fresh baked carrot cake and a gift card. This is an event that we will remember forever, and we can’t thank Rails enough for hosting this unforgettable evening. Make sure to check out the five star reviews and photos here!
