Many of these are hidden gems, in that their business is ‘hidden’ inside of a gas station. At Yelp, we love when small businesses are able to thrive and grow in the most unique of places: food trucks, pop-ups, farmer’s market booths, secret restaurants, home-based bakeries, and– yes!– gas stations.
Not all of these businesses are ‘hidden.’ Some own the gas station and even the car wash too (The Thumb BBQ, Scottsdale, AZ), and some places are local institutions that overshadow the gas station itself (El Carajo International Tapas & Wines, Miami, FL).
