Great spot to grab unique coffee, tea, and whiskey drinks. We went in the morning and had the gaelic ginger… went back later with friends and had the dublin fog, espresso martini with chocolate, and the irish coffee with chocolate. All were excellent. Each bartender at each visit was wonderful… The courtyard was cute, but even better was the museum.

We love the staff at The Shamrock Irish Pub. Cheeky, efficient, knowledgeable about their menu, and fun to be around. Food is excellent, especially the meatloaf! Guinness is poured right and is always my first choice. Music is a big draw for me and I appreciate all the Irish bands hired.

We stopped in on a cold and rainy morning for some of their world renowned frozen irish coffee. Yes it was morning, but more importantly it’s coffee, and it was amazing. The drink was like a delicious, frozen, creamy, boozy, coffee milkshake. It’s everything you want an adult breakfast to be.

Very reminiscent of the Irish pubs I frequented back in the day when I spent time on the Emerald Isle… wooden tables and chairs. Servers with genuine Irish accents. It felt like the real deal… they have one of the most extensive whiskey menus I’ve seen in Vancouver, by far.

Literally the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my 28 years of life… These are legitimate fillets, yes fillets of fish, lightly breaded, hot off the blistering oil! The fish tastes so scrumptious and fresh… the perfect partner for some hot sauce (or tartar, if you like being traditional).

It’s obviously a local’s pub, but all are welcome… I’m a sucker for live music anytime, anywhere… Don’t sleep on the irish stew. It’s a great hearty dish with lots of potatoes and it comes with a slice of sweet brown bread.

Delicious food, yummy brew, heated outdoor seating, friendly and prompt service…what more could you want? The bangers and mash were flavorful and comforting, the scotch eggs were divine, and the draft Guinness was poured to perfection. Nourishment for the Irish soul.
