Welcome to 24 Hours in San Antonio, TX, where Yelp talks to a local influencer about spending a perfect day in the home to the world’s largest cowboy boots.

San Antonio is more than just home to the Alamo and the River Walk. Someone who knows this metropolis better than most is Tomas Rey, Yelp’s San Antonio Community Manager who loves to explore the Alamo City.

9 am: Rise and shine y’all! Mother nature tends to bless us with great weather and it’s time to make the most out of it! Got to grab a green apple toast and iced caramel latte at Rosella.

10 am: Deciding to get my creative juices flowing I’ll walk down the street towards San Antonio Museum of Art for their newest exhibit.

11 am: Now that I’ve seen some great art pieces, it’s time to head over to the Pearl Brewery area! It’s awesome being able to walk alongside the Museum Section of the River Walk and view stunning spots like the Grotto and Camden Street Riverwalk Bridge.

12 pm: By the time I’ve finished taking all of the pictures across this secluded spot, it’s definitely time for some chicken cracklings and lunch at Southerleigh.

2 pm: Nothing like a treat yo self moment, and what better way than some delicious and unique flavored ice cream like Lady Lavender and Caramel Salt Lick from Lick Honest Ice Creams.

3 pm: As always, I forget I need a haircut until the day of. It’s a great excuse to look Red-Carpet-ready, so it’s time to head over to Raw Hair Studio for a haircut and facial.

4 pm: Time to get my zen on and head over to Brackenridge Park for some scenic beauty. One inside tip is to check out the Japanese Tea Gardens located inside the park for some Snapchat-worthy posts. #FreeThingsRock.

5 pm: San Antonio traffic is inevitable; you’re going to get stuck in it. Might as well play your cards right and drive down Broadway St. so you can check out places like The DoSeum (a brand new children’s museum) and Hemisfair, which was home to the 1968 World’s Fair.

6 pm: I am a pizza junkie and I love exploring pizza spots no matter where I am. It’s one of the only dishes that covers all food groups (don’t ask a nutritionist this for the sake of caloric intake). One of my favorite spots is in the South Town area is Stella Public House because they serve a mean pulled pork and pepperoni pizza!

7 pm: After I finish stuffing my face at Stella, it’s always nice to walk around Blue Star Arts Complex taking in the beautiful views and attempting to not fall into a food coma.

8 pm: There has been some awesome shows strolling into San Antonio lately, so I’m always on the lookout for who is in town at sites like the iconic Majestic Theatre or the recently-opened Tobin Center.

10 pm: Feeling cultured and energetic for the night, you can expect me at some cool spots like an underground bar called The Last Word, Paramour (a rooftop bar), or Concrete Jungle, which serves a mean tiki drink!

1 am: The best things in life require travel, and rest assured Tacos El Regio will hit the right spot with their street tacos on St. Mary’s St.
